Even though it’s made entirely out of foam, this bed doesn’t trap a lot of body heat. That’s because it contains gel, a material known for helping sleepers stay cool at night. It has a classic medium-firm feel, so it works for lightweight and average-weight combination sleepers.

We gave the DreamCloud a 4 out of 5 on our temperature regulation test, certainly not the highest score we’ve ever awarded in this field, but for an affordable mattress that excels in areas across the board, it’s certainly an impressive mark. 

In addition to doing a good job of keeping us cool, the DreamCloud also provided us with good support throughout our tests. This is particularly true of our average-weight mattress testers (130 – 230 lb), who all felt between good and excellent depending on which sleeping position they occupied.
