Amore Beds announced the debut of their first 2-sided mattress Wednesday, giving customers the option to change the firmness of their bed by simply flipping it over.

In a press release, the online mattress retailer says the new 2-sided 11″ foam bed is perfect for the following types of sleeper:

  • Those who don’t yet know their personal firmness preference.
  • Those who want to get the firmness right the first time.
  • Those who regularly host house guests and plan to share their mattress.
  • Those whose sleep preferences vary during the year.

“The idea for this mattress was born from the desire to further personalize each person’s sleeping experience” notes Todd Summerville, founder of Amore Beds in the release. “Our hybrid mattress solved the issue of two people having different firmness preferences, but what about those who want to get their ideal firmness right the first time around? Our new 2-sided mattress utilizes proprietary technology that solves this problem with an extremely economical price point.”

The new 2-sided mattress is made up of 10 layers total, including six foam layers that are covered with GOTS certified organic wool blend from New Zealand and an organic-hypoallergenic cotton fabric topper, says Amore Beds.

The new bed also utilizes the brand’s proprietary FusionFlex™ Air-Cell technology. This technology promotes proper spinal alignment and gently contours to your body for gentle support, “reducing shoulder pressure and easing common pain-points”, according to the company.

Amore Bed’s new flip-able mattress is available in the following sizes and prices (subject to change):

  • Twin – $320
  • Twin XL – $425
  • Full – $550
  • Queen – $675
  • King – $800
  • California King – $800

The mattress is made in America and comes with a 100-night trial and a 10-year warranty.

Amore Beds is also the maker of a 12″ hybrid mattress. While the hybrid mattress is not flip-able, you can personalize the top comfort layer by splitting it into two firmness levels on each side.

Both mattresses are available exclusively at AmoreBeds.com.
