Luxome Luxury Sheet Set Overview
Luxome’s brand is all about offering a luxury sleeping experience. From the LAYR pillow, which offers a truly unique and customizable sleep experience, to the ClimaSense comforter, the brand does a good job at selling a luxury experience.
The company even named its sheet set the Luxury Sheet set for that very reason. Let’s take a quick overview of the Luxome Luxury sheet set before diving into all the details:
Who should get the Luxome sheets? | Who shouldn’t get the Luxome sheets? |
People who want color variety | People who get cold quickly |
Fans of silky bamboo sheets | Fans of crisp cotton sheets |
Hot sleepers | Shoppers on a budget |
What Do the Luxome Luxury Sheets Feel Like?
The Luxome Luxury sheets have a soft, silky feel to them. This is a signature characteristic for bamboo sheets. When comparing them to cotton or polyester sheets, they won’t feel as crisp, and they often will feel a bit lighter and on occasion, a bit slicker. To me, these sheets, before any washing or drying, did feel a bit slick. This went away somewhat once I washed them.
This set of sheets is also woven with the sateen weave, one of two main weave styles for sheets. The sateen weave helps emphasize that soft, silky or satin-like feeling to these sheets.

30-60 Min Nap
Everyone has their own sheet preference, and mine happens to be bamboo. I love using the Puffy bamboo sheets, and sleep with them every night. To me, it’s the “Goldilocks” material because I love the soft texture on my skin and that it doesn’t make me feel hot and sweaty. So, trying other bamboo sheets always excites me.
When it comes to the Luxome Luxury sheet set, after a quick wash and dry, these felt remarkably similar to my Puffy sheets. These sheets were soft, smooth and very lightweight. One reason I love using bamboo sheets is they never make me feel hot and stuffy, and that held true with the Luxome sheets while I napped.
I also really appreciate the color variety, as some sheets only come in neutrals, gray or white options (even though I tested a gray set). And as I was setting the bed for my nap, I noticed the fitted sheet had a tag that told me “top/bottom” which helps out a bunch. I’m the type of person that always has to change directions with the fitted sheet without a label like that when dressing a bed.
Luxome Luxury Sheets Materials
Luxome uses 100% bamboo viscose for this sheet set. Bamboo viscose is different from cotton as it feels much softer and silkier. It is a very breathable material and has a moisture-wicking property to it that will keep you cool and dry.
The bamboo used is OEKO-TEX certified. This means that the bamboo is processed and produced without the use of harsh chemicals or heavy metals.
Luxome mentions that the Luxury sheets set has a thread count of 400. This is more of an indicator of softness and breathability than anything else. Most bamboo sheets range from 300-400, so this is fairly standard for bamboo sheets.

What to Consider Before Buying
Now that we know what goes into the Luxome Luxury Sheet set, let’s go over a few other key performance factors.
Sleeping Hot or Cold
Bamboo viscose is a good material for my fellow hot sleepers out there. Personally, I love using bamboo sheets because they are super breathable and moisture-wicking. This means you shouldn’t feel too hot and sweaty while using the Luxome Luxury sheet set. Personally, I felt pleasantly temperature neutral.
During my tests, I never really noticed any hot spots develop. I was able to keep myself covered all night and didn’t kick the sheets off. I also sleep with a very thin cotton blanket over my top sheet. Even with my blanket, I didn’t feel like overheating was going to be an issue.
Care Instructions
You can wash the Luxome Luxury sheet set. Here’s what Luxome recommends:
- Wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle
- Use a mild liquid detergent (preferably free from dyes and scents)
- Line dry or tumble dry on lowest heat setting
If you choose to machine-dry these sheets, Luxome recommends not using fabric softener or dryer sheets.
Allergies
Bamboo viscose is a naturally hypoallergenic material, as well as being antimicrobial. This set of sheets should not trigger any allergens, or feel rough and coarse on sensitive skin. It won’t attract or trap allergens in your sleep environment either. Plus, being machine-washable means you can eliminate anything that may cling to the fabric.
Company Policies
Here’s what you can expect when you make a purchase with Luxome.
Set Includes
For this review, I received a queen-size set of the Luxome Luxury Sheet set. This included:
- A top sheet
- A fitted sheet
- Two pillow cases
Luxome does offer this set in sizes from twin to California king, as well as a split king set. The twin and twin XL sets include one pillowcase, while the full, queen, and all king-size sets include two pillowcases, with the split king coming with two fitted sheets.
Return Policy
From the day your sheets arrive, you have a 30-day window to issue an exchange or a return. While Luxome will offer a shipping label, the shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
Common Luxome Luxury Sheets Complaints
While looking through the customer reviews for the Luxome Luxury sheet set, I noticed thousands of four and five star reviews. However, in the few dozen one to three star reviews, one complaint was rather consistent.
Many people that bought these sheets were surprised at how slick and slippery the sheets were. Customers reported that the sheets could not stay in place. It’s important to point out that bamboo sheets do not feel like cotton sheets. They do feel much softer and more silk-like than a crisp set of cotton sheets. If this doesn’t sound like a texture you prefer for your sheets, or want sheets that can stay in place, I’d recommend checking out our best percale sheets.
How Does Luxome Luxury Sheets Compare To Other Sheets?
If you’ve never used bamboo sheets before, or just want to see what sets the Luxome Luxury sheet set apart from other sets of sheets out there, it’s a good idea to do some comparison. Let’s see how the Luxome Luxury sheets stack up against two styles of cotton sheets, one from Saatva, one from Brooklinen.
Luxome vs Saatva
Bamboo and cotton sheets feel very different, even when the same weave style is used. The Saatva Organic Sateen sheets feature the same sateen weave used to make the Luxome Luxury sheets. While both have a soft, satin-like finish, the main difference is in the feel.
The Saatva sheets have a slight crispness to them, which is a fairly common characteristic for cotton sheets. They’ll feel just a bit textured, too. The Luxome Luxury sheets will feel more slick and silk-like. Saatva only offers its sheets in white, gray or ivory while Luxome offers seven different color options.

Luxome vs Brooklinen
Where bamboo sheets are great for hot sleepers, flannels are better for those who need some extra help warming up at night. And if you prefer your sheets to have a slight fuzzy feel, the Brooklinen Flannel Core sheet set is a good option to look at.
Both Luxome and Brooklien offer these sheets in a variety of colors, or design options in Brooklinen’s case. The Brooklinen flannels will feel much thicker and weightier, which is ideal for people who live in cooler climates or just find themselves running cold most of the time.
But if you’re a hot sleeper, the lighter, more breathable Luxome sheets are the better option here. And if you prefer a silkier feel to your sheets, as opposed to fuzz, Luxome is the way to go.

Luxome Luxury Sheet Set FAQs
What makes sheets luxury?
I’d say it comes down to the quality of the materials used and weave style. Thread count has been used as a marketing tactic to indicate luxuriousness, but it often doesn’t show the whole picture.
For the Luxome Luxury sheet set, I think the name fits. Luxome uses high-quality bamboo viscose, which acquired an OEKO-TEX certification. This means the production process is free of harsh chemicals. The sateen weave used also lends these sheets a soft, satin-like feel.
How long will the Luxome Luxury sheet set last?
Around three to five years. Bamboo is a very durable material, and with good care, has been known to last multiple years.
What if I don’t like my Luxome Luxury sheet set?
Don’t stress, you have a 30-day window to make returns or exchanges. But be sure to keep the sheets in “like new” condition and send back any bags or non-cardboard packaging the sheets came in.
